Brunei Darussalam contingent consisting of the Karate team arrived in the country on 13th December alte afternoon, after participating in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, SEA Games Thailand.

Present at Brunei International Airport was Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The national Karate athletes won two bronze medals in the 55 kilogrammes Men's Kumite, and 60 kilogrammes Men's Kumite.
